Hi, this is Wilfred Ling. I just felt the need to record this video because I have something really important to speak to you.
Having been a financial planning practitioner for 16 years, there is one observation.
When the stock market is doing well, when there are plenty of jobs, I have many clients coming to me to invest. Almost everyone claims to be high risk taker and long-term investors. However, usually this is the worst possible time because the market would be at its peak. If I would to tell them to see me one year later, most of them would either invest by themselves anyway or complain that I was not interested in their business because of the perception that I was only keen in high networth.
On the other hand, when the stock market is down and when jobs are no longer stable, the opposite happens as very few individuals are keen to start investing.
You probably already know that the stock market is down by a large amount. There is talk about the recession. Fund managers are holding more cash than their usual average which is what we call a contrary indicator. That is to say that now is the time to start investing.
However, similar to my experience in the past, very few people are investing.
It’s likely after watching this video, you will forget about it similar to all other videos you watched. And I also care less because what you do with your life does not affect me.
Nevertheless, I just want to record this video and date it so when the stock market recovers and when you approach me, I will be able to show you this video that many investors – like yourself – always lose money because you avoided buying when the market was so low and only keen when buying at the peak.
If you hardly invested before and wants financial advice to buy large, famous and highly successful companies at a rock bottom stock prices right now, feel free to contact me at my website IFA.SG.
You may ask, who am I? I'm Wilfred Ling and I am a financial advisor for 16 years. Most of you have never met a financial adviser. To give you an analogy, pharmacists and a doctor have different roles. When you want to buy medicine, you buy from a pharmacist. A doctor, on the other hand, gives medical advice. I have many clients who feedback to that prior to meeting me, they only met “financial” pharmacists because their mode of engagement focuses solely on financial products.
If you are keen to consult a “financial doctor” or a financial adviser, feel free to drop me an email at my website IFA.SG
See you!
