I joined this industry 16 years ago as my second career. The first career was a salaried person.
Why I wanted to do this? As a salaried person, I worked for my employer. However, I wanted to have a more impact to people's lives.
As financial adviser, I get to meet many clients, able to advice them and able to help them improve their financial well being.
My most satisfying moment is when my clients articulate they appreciate my work and decide to be good friends with me!
A lot of people thought that financial advisers are involved in sales. No, we are not salespersons. Yet, it is true we are selling a dream. Fortunate thing is that our solutions are not dreams, The best part is when we can actually help our clients fulfill their dreams.
