Parents and caregivers of persons with special needs face a unique challenge because they have permanent dependents. Many are concerned about what will happen to their dependents if parents and caregivers pass away. Parents and caregivers must develop a robust estate plan.
Association of Persons with Speical Needs (APSN) will be inviting Mr. Wilfred Ling, Chartered Financial Consultant and a CFA charter holder. He is in the area of financial planning and ISO 22222 (SCI) certified. Mr. Wilfred Ling, an Associate Director of PromiseLand Independent Pte Ltd, provides financial consultancy services to parents and caregivers on estate planning for persons with special needs.

- Case study: John & Mary have two sons who are still minors - Caleb an Martin. Caleb suffers from Down Syndrome while Martin is a healthy child. The speaker will showcase how he develops an estate plan by combining Wills, Trusts and various government schemes so as to ensure both Caleb and Martin's interests are looked after should the unforeseen happen to their parents.
