I saw a marketing / educational video HERE, on the topic "Why do you NOT want to get a Life Insurance Policy?" Basically the video literally gave no answer to the question. It was a poorly developed video. For those who are frustrated after watching the video and felt that it is another gimmick, here are my answers to the question:
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance if it is not meant to transfer any financial risks.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance if the financial risks you want it to transfer is not catastrophic.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance if you have intention to make money by claiming from it.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance if it does not meet your needs.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance when the adviser cannot demonstrate how the life insurance can meet your insurance shortfall.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance if you want to save for a short term need.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance just to ‘support’ a friend.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance when your intention is to have the money kept in a fixed deposit.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance for investments.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance just because there is a free gift.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance when you cannot afford it.
- You wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance when you are already well insured.
- Finally, you wouldn’t want to buy a life insurance when you cannot be assured that the death proceeds will be distributed and managed properly for your intended dependents.
